tempo change audio

hi is it possible to change the tempo of an existing audiofile (stereofile ) in bpm? not percent? like the slip tool?

i have a song (stereofile ) in tempo 120 , now i need this song in tempo 100 ,, i remember in older versions was a plugin called time and lenght?
but now i dont find a short way to change the tempo of on existing sterofile.

can u help me?

    Use AudioSnap.

    I've had better results from Cakewalk Time/Pitch Stretch 2, although going from 120 to 100bpm is pretty extreme...not sure how "clean" it will render. Anyway, set the new length percentage to 116.6666667 since you're slowing it down by 16 and 2/3 percent.

    but there is no other way?  only in percent with cakewalk time/pitch or audiosnap`#?
    because audiosnap dont work for this
    my first post only was a example, but i have to do this kind of work so often
    and have to make it with cubase , but dont want to change the daw for such kind of work..

    i rmember a older dx cakwalk plugin, but whrere is it?

    You won't find it listed under plugins.  It's applied as a process rather than inserted as a plugin effect.  In version 7 it is accessed via the Process menu, but I believe that X1 has it somewhere different.

    Audio Snap Will work for this IF you use it correctly. Enable Audio Snap on the Clip(s). Click the Button for "Clip follows project tempo" under those options choose 'stretch'. Now you are ready to adjust the tempo to your liking via the tempo map. Or just insert a new tempo of 100 bpm if the tempo doesn't vary, Or re-draw a whole new tempo map to your liking. Your audio will now stretch to the new tempo. Set each clip individually as to what online/offline algorithm is used. BTW- it won't sound good until bounced. for polyphonic stuff (full mix, gtrs, pianos, synths) use mix or mix advanced. for vocals use radius vocal or solo. bass : radius bass etc. Set each track for best overall results. For stretching a finished mix use radius mix or mix advanced.
