I have either a very bad cold or the flu. I can't tell which but I started feeling better yesterday so I recorded this SRV song. It's been such a long time since I've posted one I figure I'd post this one. Hope you guys like it.

Nice playing, but it after a bit it started to feel a bit repetitive. I know it can be really hard to keep a song feeling fresh without vocals. But IMO, you need some more change ups to keep the interest there. Maybe that's harder with this type of music, I'm really not sure.

Wow, great playin' there Bill... had me pinned all the way. Re- the mix, I think the snare could come back in a bit. Nice job.

Hi Bill, that's some hot guitar playing. While it's not fair to compare your guitar tone to SRV but you've really captured the essence of it, maybe it could use a little bit more bass. Good job. Greetings, Rik

It has been a while since you put a song on the forum and that is a shame. Keep them coming. This is a great number and some terrific playing. It has a real SRV Texas style feel to it. Well done -- "hot licks and all". Hope you get to feeling better. Freddy J

Hi Freddy! I haven't seen you for awhile. I hope things are going well for you and yours. Thanks for the comments. I don't what I caught but this is a BAD one. I went to the Doc and was put one antibiotics, decongestant, and inhaler. Good timing I suppose due to the weather. I got to meet Janet awhile back. I wish I'd had more time with her and I forgot to bring my camera darn it. I moved to Texas got X-1 and back to practicing. I'm getting a lot more into jazz here lately and building up my repertoire. Thanks again!

Thanks Gary. I loved Tourist season! I found my manuscript for Classical Gas but when I compared it to the recording I have it was off. I am going to learn it from the recorded version I have. I do feel better today. Thank you for listening!

Yeah, this is some great playing, Bill. (and I knew everyone else would think so.) I'm glad you're recording again. :-)

Awesome guitar skills... i'd like to hear more punch and maybe a little less low end in the bass... but it could be my headphones (AKG K-240s) and I only listened through my laptop soundcard. Good riffage! JB

superb guitar work. mix is not quite there...i'd say bass needs more balls, maybe some distortion or compression. guitar has a funny almost phased sound to it. dunno what is happening there...but the playing is so so good. you should deffo be posting more!

The bottom end sounds OK on my ear buds! You are an excellant guitar player... Love the EVH at about 2:05!
