Gonzo, The king of instrumentation is asking us for mix and balance suggestions? Come on man give us a break!! This is great and no suggestions are necessary, as usual! Peace and Blessings, John

Hi BB, great tune, love it, great guitar tone and playing. On my small speakers the bass guitar seems a bit to loud. Rik

hey rik! thanks for checking it out... glad you are diggin' it. the song was written on the bass, features the bass, so it should be up front in this particular mix. it has a lot of higher midrange info, it really stands out on the smaller speakers maybe my nod to Squires or sumptin' (RIP CS) i'll do some more focus on the bass track, and make sure it's as loud as i want it, but not louder. LOL

sorry to be so confusing, but the majority of the guitar work is a strat.... not the 12 string. the 12 string is what is played during the first verse (0:08-0:22) and then again from 0:28-0:31. again, during the chorus 'love of my life, i will take you there', it's mixed in very lightly along with the strat work.... then again finally during the final breakdown chord sequence. i tried using it for all of the rhythm, but it didn't work. most of the guitar work is with my USACG strat:

It appears I am a bit behind... I've just spotted that Synth Rock track, although, while I am listening, I think I've heard it before, so either my head is playing tricks on me, or you've had this mix up before...

Yep. That is the one I listened to Rob, don't worry... Now that you mention Wookiee, yeah, that rang a rather large bell...
