Yes, in about a month... right around the end of February or beginning of March. I don't know the exact date because the publisher controls the actual publishing of the book. So in about a month is what I mean by soon, which it is in the world of book publishing...

    Thanks!

I went through the whole thing. My only complaint is that audio snap worked for him and not us mere mortals

They probably took the audio snap dll from 8.5 and replaced the one in X1. Kind of like how you have to do with that Sonitus plug that has a memory leak.

Or, there is actually a working version of X1 and they are just screwing with us.

    Being a ****, I could believe either.

    Hi All,

With regards to the Sonar X1 Explained videos, I was using a beta version. It's actually kind of ironic that things turned out as they did with Audio Snap. Because, as I was doing the videos, I was worried about the opposite: things getting fixed by the time of the main release that would be different than the beta version I was using. The opposite seemed to have happened!

For all those interested; I will be doing a follow up series of videos covering more advanced topics. No exact ETA yet, but it is the next thing on my plate.

I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying the X1 Explained series.

    Eli

I pre-ordered mine in Canada - from Amazon.ca. They are reporting it becomes available on March 2nd, I should have it by
     7th or 8th.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!
