the navigator view and other unaswered questions

I often transfer projects  to my laptop to go work elsewhere.
My Home system has  19" monitor My Laptop has a 15" wide screen. Therefore different resolutions.
I opened them on the laptop I couldn't get at the bottom right corned to drag the window to fit.
This is a pain as you loose the scroll bar.
I opened one song and there was a navigator bar at the top, ?? cool. this worked great, But I have tried to duplicate this on other projects and it won't lock into place there?
This is just like the missing Master and EFX buss. I guess it depends on which Template you use. So

How do you add the Navigator Bar under the taskbar??

Try maximizing your Track View window with the Windows square in the upper right corner of the Track window.

Never did get an answer, but I'll figure it out someday, just like this one I never got an answer for
How do you show add the master buss?
I found a tiny little icon that opens and closes the window showing the buss pane.

Not sure if this is what you want, but the letter "D" will toggle the navigator view on and off.

a , thanks, but what I am looking for is how to embed it into the task bar. The floating view is static and disappears. On one of my projects it is always the bottom most task bar and I think it came that way in a template I must have used.
I guess this is all down the toilet anyways with X1.
