the occasional whiteout

I'm getting a program loop a few times daily while working in the track pane.

While moving the cursor vertically, it stops at the bottom of the control bar and can't be moved upward from there.
Any mouse click at this point produces a whiteout and rolling cursor.

If you've seen this and have a way to reproduce and/or work around it, please let me know.

I have not experienced this, but this looks like this can be a PC issue and maybe a playback I/O buffer issue and/or maybe a driver setting issue.

List all your sound card,  driver settings that i listed above and your PC specs. This will help others see what you are working with and it will help others give you better solutions when they know those things above.
