You get to spoon me for a night. Is this a new feature in X1? Don't recall ever seeing this in 8.5.3. Is there a way to set gain on an individual clip without using an envelope?

Is there a way to set gain on an individual clip without using an envelope?
Your track faderr, but then it will affect all clips. If you want to only effect one of the clips in the track, you can either use an envelope (gain or volume envelope) or put that clip on another track and set the fader for that new track. Cj

Cool. This I knew, I just wondered if there was a per-clip method for gain control as with pitch. Guess not. Thanks CJ.

That's been a feature since at least 6PE.
I'm aware of the clip envelopes, my question had to do with adjusting a clip volume/gain with a simple Key combination. For example, Alt +/- can change pitch (depending on how the clip is functioning) and I was asking if such a feature existed for volume/gain.
