timing issue on playback

I had a vocal session in the studio last night.  I used X2 and noticed that each time I did a take and then played it back the newly recorded take was playing slightly late.  So I had to manually drag the new clip to the left before listening back.

Anyone else seeing this behaviour?  I think its a bug.

Check your "Record Latency Adjustment" in Preferences-->Audio-->Sync & Caching. That sounds like a manual offset has been applied or needs applying.

Sonar automaticaly adjusts for offset, it is very rare that one has to change this. You should have your system specs in your signature. Are you using a audio interface?
Are you recording dry or passing through a efx's buss?

No, its not a bug. Its your sound card or lack of a good one and/or the offset settings as Catcus said.
