Amplitube Plugin Problem

Hello. I'm having a problem with my Amplitube Plugin. I can't get it to work when I try to audition different guitar tones. It's only after I record a dry guitar signal into my project when I can actually try out different tones to see which one I like best. It would be nice to set up a tone, fine tune it and get it sounding good, and then practice my part as many times as I like with that particular tone before I actually record the guitar. In other words, I have no idea how to correctly use this plugin!! LOL. Thanks for any help anyone may have.

Hi Uncle Jimmy Are you really my uncle??? Ha Ha Bit confused as to how you can't hear or alter Amplitube tones / emulations at the recording stage but here goes. 1 - In track view select to Input Echo button in the audio track you wish to record on. 2 - Right click in the FX bin in the same track and scroll down to Amplitube. The amplitube plugin window should open and you should be able to alter the setting until your hearts content. This is asuming your guitar is plugged in correctly but as you say you can get a dry signal in i'm guessing it is. Once you have the input echo enabled you don't have to rely on on direct monitoring from your SPS ie you can turn of the SW switch as the sound will now go into Sonar through the plug in and back out your speakers. Hope this helps, i'm new to this game myself. But my Sonar Power book is arriving today, feels like xmas already.

Just enable input echo in the track and youll be able to hear the amplitude effects as you play guitar. Youll need to have a low latency for this, under 5ms so theres no dleay Cj

HI, I have been having problems assigning midi controls to my Amplitube 3. I usually use a Korg nanoPAD2 and my effects pedals switch but havent been able to assign midi continuous control signal to Amplitube 3 in Sonar X1. It works fine in Standalone, but not as a plugin for SonarX1. I have gone through making the plugin a Softsynth VSTi and tried the learn midi, but it wont accept the nanoPAD2 CC signal. I have tried it in both VST and VSTi, and nothing. Sonar recognises my nanoPAD2 but not its inputs. I have the same issue with Session Drummer as well. I purchased the A300Pro Midi Keyboard Controller with the hope that using its pads to control the effects pedals in Amplitube 3 would be successful, but still it doesnt recognise any input. I will admit I am using the apro pluggin. Can you advise me on what I am doing wrong please.
