Track Template question

Is it possible to create a Track Folder within a Track Template ?

When I create a Track Folder and save to a Track Template, I'm not able to retreive that Track Folder when I try to insert that Track Template. All tracks are stacked in the main track window.

Hope I'm clear, sorry for my English.

yes you can indeed on the menu bar at the top of sonar choose the follow menus

tracks >> insert track template >> import filter

opening the import filter will allow you to select the track folder tick box option if its enabled.

hope thats a help to you

I don't know why it's disabled either. I think this behavior may have changed in 8.5, but if not I'll revisit and see if we can get it changed in an update.

    very nice!

i did not know about this option either and often wondered why this wasn't allowed.

it would be great to get the default changed.

ahhhhhhh!!!!  Ironically, I've recently decided to ditch using track folders as they create more clutter than their worth (imho)

i find folders handy if you want to zoom in on a set of tracks really quickly, if you collapse all but one folder and then press "F" you can automatically zoom in so all the tracks are even spread vertically on the track view.

    Each to their own though
