Ok I seen the price drop on the v console and the v 700r,  I am going to buy the both the v700r and v 700c but I dont have all the cash at hand to buy both, been spending more than I though in setting up my other studio room. 
 question. is can I use the v 700r as my audio interface for the time being and use my tascam fw 1884 as a control surface, I would think I can all I should have to do is choose the v700 r as audio options and fw as control surface.. just wanna make sure..dont want to keep one in the box  till the other arrives.
 second question, doses the 700r or 700c come with sonar 8.5 PE or dose it just come with v 700 .. 

Third question is the v 700 only usable as a sound card for sonar Only? cus I got mixed answers about that..

just try with a friends sound card , if it works , it will work with the 700R !!

You can use the VS-700R as an audio interface in the meantime. Keep in mind that headphone jacks and main volume are on the VS-700C. Not sure if that's a hassle in the meantime or not and will depend on your setup.

The VS-700R has standard ASIO/WDM/WASAPI drivers for XP/Vista/Win7 and will work with any application. Also the built in Fantom works w/o the 700C and can be accessed from any program as a standard VSTi.

Ok thanks Brandon.. Headphone jack is not a problem right now, Main volume shouldn't be an issue either as long as the virtual main works on the Mixer section of sonar. I think with that said I think Im going to buy the V 700 c first and use one of my usb Sound cards for the time being. I have a stanton Scratch open amp , asio drivers, and a NI Kore first edition, and a NI audio 4 card..I am going to use one of those for the time being, I have delta 10/10 pci card which I cant use cause new computer has pci Express.ordering board right now :)

Just order the V-700 R the V-700C was on back order.. cant wait to get it... hope all my pops and clicks will disappear ..will post pics...
