Re:SONAR: Get Started (video series) - October 12, 10 11:41 AM ( #121 )

Can't even find CakeTV from cakwewalk unless you input the whole company and everything

Caketv is the first thing you see when you come into cakewalks web site ..Tab 1..

Also I just did a search on cakes home page on the top left where it says (Cake site search by google) and I typed in Caketv , First search there it was.. I also did a search in googles browser and about 10th down on the list there it is..

Would be useful if the only thing that was posted in this thread were the links the title pertains to. That way I wouldn't have to dredge through all the fluff.

The links are all in the first post on page 1. No need to read past that if you don't want to.

Oh you are going to keep the first post up to date then ? No worry. A note to that effect on the first post might be a plan. However is this https://www.cakewalk.com/CakeTV/SONARU.aspx the same? Coz then just a link to that would do? Anyway ..

Thanks a lot. Great stuff.

Yup, the first post will continue to be updated so it includes all new information rather than having to wade through the whole thread. Also the first post includes direct hyperlinks to CakeTV and SONAR U.

Thanks!

Four new SONAR: Get Started videos are are now live on YouTube. If you're interested in upgrading to X1 and want to learn the basics of setting it up with an audio interface, MIDI devices, etc., these videos are worth checking out. The menus and methods used, of course, are different than what you will see in 8.5 and previous.

SONAR: Get Started - ASIO Configuration

SONAR: Get Started - Control Surface Configuration

SONAR: Get Started - MIDI Configuration

SONAR: Get Started - Recording an Audio Track

Stay tuned; more to come ...
