Changing expression pedal behavior in Sonar X1

Right now my expression pedal (plugged into A-800Pro) controls the master volume. I want get rid of this function and be able to use it for modulation in various VST's. My problem is that I can't seem to get it to leave the volume alone. I can set it up to control cutoff in a VST, but the volume change is still there. How can I fix this?

Solved: Used A-Pro editor on program 19 and changed cc to 7 instead of 11.
