This is a tasteful, melodic song that flows just like a river. The vocal and lyrics are quite good. I liked the synth patch in the background which gives the song a somewhat mournful vibe. The video is well matched to the lyrics though I thought that the lyrics superimposed weren't entirely necessary. Still, I liked everything well enough that I'll go back and listen a time or two. BTW, I have a video called "Rivers Of The Sky" that you might find interesting. I just thought it was ironic.

I liked having the lyrics posted, lyrics are important. I could understand these as sang which I always appreciate. I alway figure if the words are worth singing, they're worth people being able to understand them. This is nice tune. The mix is different... but I like it. Daryl

I like this a lot. Very Beatle'esque with some Floyd mixed in. Everything sounds great. Very nice!

Allan, sounds good. Maybe a little bass shy and drums are pretty far back. I like the arrangement. I think there may be some slight distortion on chorus vocals (maybe too hot?). Rimshot

Thanks for all of the kind comments - this song seems to have struck a chord with other listeners (not on this forum), too. Makes my day... Allan www.youtube.com/user/Kittibutt

I really like the interplay of bass and guitar introduced during the second verse. A very unusual composition. Seems to hit a variety of styles all at once, with a later Beatles musical vibe being mixed with a sort of King Crimson/Alan Parsons like vocal styling. Very cool

I like the song and can definitely hear the Beatles thing mentioned earlier. I thought the synthy string sound that comes in from time to time (panned hard left) was a little overpowering but other than that small comment it sounds pretty good to me.

Very nice Allan. This song does have a very McCartney-esque sound to it (that is a complement). The vocals and harmonies are super. The mix sound good also. Nicely done! Freddy J
