Waiting for Serial Numbers

I just spotted the upgrade offer and decided to upgrade my 8.5 LE system to Essentials, on the basis that I'd get Studio as the free upgrade. After waiting a couple of hours for the serial numbers to come through, I tried to get in touch with Customer Service and discovered they're closed till Monday 7/9. Wish I'd noticed that before - I'd at least have managed to get another 10% off using the promo code they have posted there. so it seems now that I have to wait till Monday to get the serial numbers so that I can install and register Essentials, just to then go through the whole process again with Studio. Is it me or does this seem like it's unnecessarily difficult? I find it hard to believe that there's no way of issuing serial numbers for five whole days! and that they didn't have the decency to mention this before I hit the Confirm Order button...... anyone else in the same boat?

And I got an email last night with a link to the upgrade and all my serial numbers.... Excellent. I get the sense that someone, somewhere at Cakewalk is going the extra mile to handle situations like this. They seeem like a small team with a large customer base - there will be the odd glitch along the way but they will try and sort things out - and if that's the case then I kind of like it. So, to whoever sorted out my order on a Saturday when they were meant to to be closed- thank you
