Sweet tune, Chas. Went down real sweet and easy over here. Real nice groove. Country with a bit of boogie woogie.... really liked it. Lyrics sounded pretty clever, but couldn't make them all out... maybe my pc speakers, maybe the mix... not sure. See what others have to say. Nice job.

Well, I cannot say as I like the song, as country and I are not friends and never will be, but, I do very much like your style. You bring a sense of fun to the music that is so often missing. Its like you are relaxed into it, which helps me, the listener, relax into it too...if that makes any sense at all. Sounded pretty good here.

Thanks, philz, for listening and your comments. I made use of the 'ducking' feature of Sonar on the vocals. I thought the vocals were intelligible enough. Will revisit........ timidi, thanks a lot for listening and your comments. That's Brent Mason on guitar and he does some pretty good licks. :) And except for vocals all of it is played by Band in a box (with some manipulation by me). After listening to some of the Real Tracks from BiaB I wanted to see what I could do with them............... Foxwolfen, given that you don't like country I appreciate you listening and for your comments. Growing up I wasn't a country fan either (although I was constantly around it) but learned to love it as I got older............. Janet, thank you. Glad you liked the song. As far as the playing see my reply to Timidi.............. Rimshot, thank you for your comments. Glad you liked the song. As far as the drums I picked out two different drummers (or styles) from Band in a Box.

lostandconfused, thanks a lot for listening and your comments. I did enjoy singing the song. This was my first complete song using Sonar X2. Enjoyed doing the mix and learning a few ins and outs of it................ james, thanks. Glad you liked it. Brent Mason did the guitar via Band in a Box.

Chas, this is a honey of a song. The lyrics are clever, and your arrangement and use of BiaB is well done. You sang the heck out of this and made it fun to listen to. Keep em coming!

I can’t believe I missed this - I love it. Vocal is killer (raw, in your face and perfectly imperfect), guitar work rocks (right out of the box). Humor is there but it’s also not just a “novelty” kind of thing - it’s a cool tune. This put a big smile on my face. Great job - 2.53 seconds of fun.

That first line of that chorus is killer. I love all music, but country is the one genre I have not really gotten that much into. But this was fun and captivating.

I can take or leave country. I like it live though. It somehow seems more genuine live. It is a nice tune! I think the vox are about 2db too loud. Nice!!!

James, thanks for listening and for your feedback. Always respect your opinion. No ambivalence. :)..................... Guitarpima, thanks for listening and your comments. Did a little wrestling with the vox volume and will probably stick with this (for the time being).

I loved it... I thought the lyrics were very clever, and vocal performance was outstanding... Your voice has a Jerry Lee Lewis quality in the lower registers, and it's all your own in the uppers... your phrasing and timing was dead on... Great arrangement & mix too...
