Dimension Pro Pitch Bend Errors

Hi,

I'm using Dimension Pro (Version 1.2) on Sonar 6 Producer Edition (Version 6.2.1).

My Hardware is an EDIROL FA-101 sound card and the EDIROL PCR-M50 midi keyboard.

My PC has a 2.8 Ghz x64 processor, 4 GB RAM, 1 Terabyte hard disk space (almost empty), a 256 Meg video card (256 MB on the card iteslf so it doesn't use system RAM).

I noticed that when using Dimension Pro at 192kHz my mod wheel on the PCR-M50 doesn't work. When I try to use it to pitch bend, the sound cuts off comepletely.

When I lower the bitrate on the card to 44.1 or 48.8 or even up to 88.1kHz then the pitch bending works just fine.

I want to record my stuff in very high quality (192Khz) but I can't do any modulations on the midi effects at that bitrate.

Can anyone help out with this? Is this a bug in DimensionPro? Is there some optimization I could do to my setting such as Buffers etc, or do I need a more powerful pc?

    I just wonder if Cakewalk is doing anything about this issue since so many people seem to be experiencing it,

    Yes stratcat it sounds relevant...unfortunately like all the other relevant threads it starts to complain a little too much and not focus as well on the issue.

    It's obviously an issue with Dimension Pro because when I use the DreamStation that comes with Soar6 at 192kHz bitrate the pitch bending still works fine.

    I'd like to see someone from cakewalk address this issue. I sent them an email about it and will post it up once I receive the response.

    I called the technical support number and they told me that this is currently an open issue which is being worked on. Maybe a new patch will be out soon :)

    Until then we wait.
