How to register MFX plug-ins?

I recently downloaded some free MFX plugins and have been trying to install them, with a bit of difficulty. They are from Geniesys and I extracted the .dll's to my shared midi plugins directory. I then ran regsvr32 for each which said they were registered but they don't show up in Sonar. I used to use Home Studio and remember there was a Plug-in Manager which doesn't seem to be present in Sonar.

How do I get Sonar to recognise them?

Regards.................Kerry

The Plugin Manager should be available under "Tools" in S5. HTH.

Thanks Phrauge, not sure why I didn't see that before. I went into the plug-in manager and the Plug-ins don't show, went back to the little help file that came with each plug-in and it says they are compatable with the Yamaha OPT format. I'm not greatly fluent with this stuff but started to wonder if Sonar doesn't support the format. I did a bit of snooping and came upon the Yamaha site's explanation of the OPT format and hiding down the bottom it shows Cakewalk as a supporting company (url below)?
