Automating Trilogy parameters in Sonar 4?

How can I automate Trilogy parameters, specifically Filters>Envelope, in Sonar 4? I can do it for other newer synths like albino, but am unable to figure out for Trilogy.

    how about sending control information the Trilogy synth?

    What is it you are having trouble with? Have you read either the Trilogy or SONAR the manual about automating parms?

    If so, what is it that you are having trouble with?

    When I choose Envelope> Create Track Envelope> Midi> NRPN for a Trilogy midi track, I dont get the various parameters I can create the envelope for as I get in Albino. In Albino I can create a track envelope for filter envelope and automate like I want, but not in Trilogy.

    I am not at home, but I do own Trilogy. I will see if there is a difference in the automation envelopes between S4 and S5.

    What parms are you looking to automate?

    I want to automate the Filters>Envelope knob (the 4th knob 'ENV' in the middle panel 'FILTERS).

    Could you find a solution? Is it possible to assign midi controller in Trilogy (eg. I'd control the cutoff filter)? In Stylus RMX it's so easy with the midi learn...

    I can't believe it's not possible to automate it somehow in Sonar... even if it's not possible to assign midi controller in Trilogy.
