Sonar X1 Wallpaper and Themepack
If you are interested, I took Darktrax's Sonar 8.5 wallpaper and made an X1 wallpaper and a themepack for win7. here's the themepack for downloading: http://www.beaglesound.com/SX1_themepack.zip you'll need to unzip it, then just load it into your peronalize settings. or if you want just the wallpaper, here it is: http://www.beaglesound.com/SX1.jpg this is a 1680x1050. win7 is very good about making it fit to other sizes, but let me know if you have problems. it looks fine on my 1920x1200's. here's a preview: enjoy!

yes, but it will have some color that will be "uneven" because I copied this from darktrax and I don't have the original aurora to use. hold on and I'll post one and you can use it if you want.

Oh, I'll take this. :) I wish the background was white or some light color, though. Nevertheless, this will do. Thanks for sharing, Beagle!

randy - in win7 you can use or save themepacks for your display settings. that includes the wallpaper, the "window color", the windows soundscheme and the screen saver. in this particular one, I have a very translucent window color, no sounds and a "SONAR X1" text screen saver.

Oh yeah, I just double clicked it and it installed it...I don't see anything related in screen savers though, should I or is it automatic by using that theme?

you're probably going directly to the screen saver settings instead of the win7 "Personalize" settings. right click on your desktop, then choose "PERSONALIZE" and you'll see where to change those parameters and save "themes"

J/K I'll figure it out. EDIT: closed Firefox and reopened and my buttons are back...yay...thanks Beagle!

randy..just unzip it..then right click on your desktop.the last option on the bottom is personalize.it should be right there unless youve personalized a few for your self.then they would be in a file..but if not windows diplays the last 4 saves,

I don't know nothin bout no firefox! I don't use it! the screen saver is just the TEXT one that's included with windows (has been since win98, IIRC). I did "misspell" SONAR, tho, I changed it on mine, I can upload a "fix" if you want.

Beagle: These last 3 are nice! I really like the Gold one. Please, Beagle can you make the X1 of the Gold look like the X1 in the Blue? You know, no fancy Roman numeral looking X1. :) Please? :)

Haha! Thanks Beagle! This new Gold will do it for me. :) This is, now, my official SONAR wallpaper/desktop background. Great work! If you want to make it absolutely perfect, change that lowercase "n" to a Capital "N." Really, though, thanks a bunch for this. :)

Glad you like 'em fellas! Thomas - I can't change the lower case n to an upper case - the font I'm using is exactly like that unless I could find a different font. but I doubt I'll look that hard for one. I did change the gold one again cause I got to liking it myself. I made a 1920x1200, moved the fonts to the left a little and removed the tag at the bottom. I like the tag there, but it was interferring with my monitors. I said earlier I had 2 1920's but I was wrong - I have one 1920 and one 1680, so one wallpaper has to be more centered for me to keep the 2nd one from getting cut off at the edge. if you're interested in it I'll upload it later - maybe tomorrow. but tonight it's bedtime!

well, actually, I did find a better font with the upper case N. it's on gold 3 now. I'll upload it tomorrow night. oh - and I moved the notes up a little. I originally thought they looked good hanging so close to the words, but changed my mind.
