AKAI S-1000 samples and Sonar 6.21

What Cakewalk tool or soft synth will allow me to import AKAI-S1000 samples? I found an old CD-rom of useful keyboard samples that I cannot completely and accurately import into my Kurzweil K2600XS. A stupid question but does Cakewalk have a dedicated sampler besides the old V-Sampler from Sonar 3? Thanks in advance for any input.

    Can I (politely) hijack a part of this thread and also ask about converting akai S2000 data 9it will read S3000 files) on floppy for the PC I would love to get my hours of (homemade) samples into wavelab and sonar etc.

    I need the Pc to read the akai floppy format as well as the files themselves

    Apologies for adding to your thread plasmaflow but it seemed a similar point
