MIDI Fading

Is there some way you can fade in/out MIDI track, or can it only be audio?

    The MIDI track is associated with an audio track which it uses to play through. Put a gain envelope on the associated audio track.

    or use envelope on the midi track OR draw in volume/velocity curve OR automate write and use faders in track or console view....
