The console and the synth rack can float (I think the PRV editor can to), but in order to do it, you have to enable floating in the project. To do this, click on the icon in the upper left corner of the window title bar with the left mouse button. From the context menu, place a tick next to enable floating.
I run my console as a float and tab my PRV editor and synth rack. This is just my personal preference. You should play around with it and make it work for you.
