very simple question about pitching audio clips

Yes, i'ts a very simple question. But it's so simple that a lot of the bigger DAW's dont't have this ability.
What i want to do is the ability to pitch a audio clip up and down. I know this is of course simple to do with the "groove clips". But i want to be able to change the pitch of a audio clip without all this timestretching stuff... That is, i want to pitch the sample without time correction, when i pitch it down, i want the clip to get longer, and so forth...
And i want to do this on line, non-destructively... like you can do in Sony Acid, whith "one shot" audio samples...
Of course i could put the sample into a sampler of choise, and yes, thats what I do today, with Kontakt and Cubase as host.. But it would be super nice if you could to this in Sonar directly...

cheers
