Drivers for Alesis Multimix USB

Where in the world are the drivers for the Alesis Multimix USB for Sonar 6 LE? I can't find them on Alesis, and they aren't on the CD I got with Sonar LE.

Help please?

unforntely, she came to realize after reading a small print on the box: drivers not included...:)
but this is the model she got....http://www.alesis.com/multimix8usb
I recommend anyway else to stay away from this particular model since it is only using windows driver only...really sucks:)

I recently tried out the Multimix 16 USB (NOT the newer and better USB 2.0 or Firewire models) and it just shows up in Windows as USB AUDIO CODEC. It doesn't have ASIO drivers like the 2.0 version so it's no better than a cheap little external USB soundcard that has one input and a stereo output.

The USB on this device is more of a gimick than anything.
They just decided to make a mixer with a USB soundcard built into it.

I have an Alesis USB 16 and it actually not need any driver to run, however you can download some ASIO Driver recomenden on the Alesis Manual Guide. here`s what it says:

Compatible Third Party ASIO Drivers for Windows XP
In some cases, the regular built-in driver for audio in Windows XP may still have
some latency issues. In these cases you may want to try using 3rd party ASIO drivers.
Some examples of tested ASIO you can download are available on these websites.
    http://www.asio4all.com/
    http://usb-audio.com/
These companies are not affiliated with Alesis, but do offer Windows XP ASIO drivers
that work with the MultiMix Mixers with USB. Please contact them for specific
questions relating to their software and your computer.

    Hope this works for you
