Guitar tab software

I'm looking to buy some decent guitar tab software. When I do collabs, I want to be able to type in the chord progressions, along with the fingerings for standard 6-string guitar. I use a lot of open chord inversions all over the fretboard, and I want to be able to put those in tab, convert it to a standard image (jpg., gif, etc) and send that attachment via email to my music partners.

Anyone out there use this softare? What would you recommend that's fairly easy to use? Appreciate the helpful comments.

    Larry,
I use Power Tab Editor. It's free. Along with the printable TAB, which you should be able to save as an image, it generates a MIDI file, complete with bends, trems, etc. It can be inserted as a reference track while your cohorts get familiar with your TAB.

Thanks Robert! I downloaded Power Tab, and so far it seems pretty easy to use. Free is free!!

Larry, Also look into pdf writing software. There is free shareware out on the net. You just send your Power Tab to print and then select as a printer the PDF software and it creates the pdf. Much smaller than a jpeg and nicer to print or view.
