Step Sequencer Button is grayed out.

Step Sequencer Button is grayed out.

Edit: I was able to get it open...........!!

I've never use the step seq in Sonar 7. Tonight, I decided I'd take a look at it.
I pressed Alt+Shift+5 to open it.....nothing happened??
Then I started looking deeper, and the Step Seq button is grayed out, not allowing me to click on it.

Do I have to change something to get it to work?

    If the audio track is selected it will be grayed out. You have to click on the Midi track to get the step seq.
