Sonar 7 PE Step Sequencer - Tool Bar?

Sonar 7 PE Step Sequencer - Tool Bar?

I just upgraded to S7PE and am having fun with the step sequencer. It's like "son of Synchron 32" at first glance.

Ok, here's the deal: where is the tool bar that lets you access the controller data pane? The pictures in the Sonar Reference show it, but I haven't (yet) been able to find a way to expose it. If I use the controllers button on the main toolbars, I get things related to the piano roll. Is it a contextual tool bar that only shows under certain display conditions?

    There is a button at the bottom of the Step Sequencer window - the Show/Hide Controller Pane button. That's it. There's no tool bar. You hover your mouse in the pane and it turns into a pencil so you can draw controller events by left clicking. Right-clicking turns the cursor into an eraser so you can delete controller events.

    Thanks, Scott. I discovered what the problem was: monitor resolution/font size. There's a thread here where someone else had and solved this issue.

    My monitor is a 22" widescreen that defaults at 1680x1050... as I'm in the !@#$ bifocal set, I was running the font size up a notch from Windows' default setting. Once I dropped the font size to "default," everything showed up in the step sequencer interface.

    I'm gonna need binoculars to read some of that type... the Stones were right, it is a drag, growing old...
