Another UK Sonar user here.
I stopped my subscription to Computer Music due to not enough articles including Sonar, despite the fact that most articles could be used in any DAW.

I look at it in my local WH Smith and if I like what I see I buy it. But I love my SOS and Performing Musician subscription I look forward to them every month.

Mr. Clean If you want to meet another Sonar user just send me a PM, I'm only 14 miles from you.

Cheers
Mike

Fife's in Scotland (just) ;)

Better chime in here..still creeping towards Sonar via Home Studio though..

Not 'from' Scotland I should probably add...they just let me live here. Originally from Gloucestershire. Ooh, and furthermore, arr.

This UK you speak of, is it anywhere near Great Britain?
Jim

it's the one that... e.g. when the Scottish Curling team won a medal at the Olympics.. they were from the "UK" if they hadn't won... they'd have been Scottish

I find that aspect funny, I can say that as although I was born in London my roots are just left of the UK across the sea.

I've been to Wales also (used to take the ferry to Ireland from there) , I've worked with someone welsh who I didn't until recently was Welsh for years as their accent isn't strong.

I think the Aussies have it tuffer getting pro audio stuff.

ggarrow, I entered that competition, I still have the mix I did somewhere although the mix itself was probably the weak point of it as it was rushed. I got lucky with another one though.

the current coolio one, I'm really not interested in as yer you get your version on itunes.. and thats IT?

Sonar in the UK? Not a patch on Anarchy in the UK, by the jolly old Sect Pissoles, old fruit, or, rather, that's what a frightfully decent chap told me at the pub over a foaming pint of Badger's Snout. Must dash, I have to have a look under the bonnet of my Austin Healey to see if I left my spanner there. I'll be in such a bind if I don't find it. I borrowed it from Matron, don't you know. She keeps it with her suspenders. TTFN.

Another UK user here. (On and off.) Got S6 but wished I'd stayed with S4 (preferred the work-flow and I don't use the add ons, gave up with ACT). [soto voce: I don't want to say too much because we're not supposed to criticise (note the spelling).]

Colour, colour, colour, colour, colour, colour, colour, colour, colour.

Eurasia. Eastasia and Oceania

I prefer Bishops Finger, or what we used to jokingly refer to as Nun's Delight :)

Another happy UK user (and Sound on Sound fan) here. I found Stuart's accent no problem at all, but then I was born and brought up in the Peoples' Republic of SW Scotland (great place, Wigtownshire, isn't it Jamesg?)

If our US friends want to know what we're really like, they should check out 'Notes From A Small Island' by Bill Bryson (from Iowa) - a classic example of 'tae see oursel's as ithers see us'l

Cheers,

Murray

That puts you in either Bricket Wood or Abbots Langley. Greetings from a temporary resident of Radlett! Not a mention of Geordieland yet. Try that for an accent. y i anyone?

And another UK user.

Moved to Sonar when Logic shafted PC users and haven't regretted it one little bit ! Especially when there's someone like Scott Garrigus in tow as well, writing his excellent guides.
