What version of Sonar do you own? Have you tried to contact Technical Support through the proper channels? What ideas did they respond with?

Stop reinstalling it, it wont fix it and your messing up your install if you do not uninstall it completely, including the registry ones. Its most likely off your window or behind a window. Check behind the views in sonar. if its not there then raise your screen resolution for your monitors so you can see more real estate. When you drag it to the center again, just lower it back to the normal setting you had before Cj

when i click on snap to grid properties, it's not showing any more. Are you sure that it's not opening behind another window? Or off screen? Do you use multiple displays by any chance? I've had it open behind another window on my second display, and it is sometimes embarrassingly long before I think of looking for it there.

ORIGINAL: CJaysMusic Edit your registry. This is for XP HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR Producer\6.0\SnapDlg kktk, You might already know this, but the Sonar registry is organized by version. CJ is using version 6. Since you're on version 7, it will be: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR Producer\7.0\SnapDlg

Thanks guys.... i had to play with my nvidia desktop manager..and its settings. landed up forcing up a new window on the same desktop as the application.....this made the window show up. so this must be a combination of our desktop settings and sonar's support for multiple displays... i shouldnt have had to do what i did---oh well! :)

I just had this problem and this fixed it although I set the values to 0 instead of deleting them.

Yep. Happened to me as well. I had two monitors going and moved one to another computer. Dialog didn't show up. Used the registry method and set values to zero. Shut down and restrarted Sonar. Works now. I'm glad someone posted this because I was REALLY confused for a bit. Sonar 6.0 producer
