Drag and Drop Bug??

Hi all,

I am constantly switching my "Drag & Drop" options between "slide over to make room" and "blend old with new" because I work alot with tracks that I cut into clips. However, I've been noticing this horrible, frustrating problem.

Say I open up one of my projects with many tracks that have been cut into clips. I'll first have "Blend Old with new checked" and work with the song. Everything drags and drops fine.

Then, I'll select "Slide Over to Make Room" and play with that for a little bit. Here's where the problem comes in: When I go to switch back to "Blend Old with New", the drag and drop starts acting funny; it doesn't act like Blend Old with New. If I move a clip, it moves others ones with it, cuts it up into more clips if I drag it, places bits and pieces of the clip all over the place and all other kinds of weird sh**!!!
The only thing that seems to correct this is if I save the project and reOpen it.

Anyone else experience this??? What is PVR mode? Would that have anything to do with it?
I'm using Sonar Producer Edition 7.02.
