Cant Press Record Button

Hello There,

I am trying to record an intrumental beat I imported from my files..When I try to click the record button it wont let me..Can some please help me?

Mr Flako, please describe exactly what you are doing to try and record vocals.

Basically, insert new audio track, set the track input to your soundcard wave-in, enable 'mic' or 'line-in' in the recording section of your Windows mixer, 'Arm' the track, and hit 'Record'. Sing or play into the mike.

If you follow the tutorials, all these things are covered. I know it's a ball-ache, but it is worth persevering in the long run.
