NIHardwareService.exe?

NIHardwareService.exe?

So i upgraded to Guitar Rig 4 and after i installed, i now have this process running all the time (even on reboot)
WTF is it? and how do i get rid of it or at least toggle it to turn on when i start GR?

    It's a service for  managing Native Instruments Controller hardware.

    Only useful if you have the hardware controller for Guitar Rig.

    You can disable the service or, better still, uninstall it.

    Sounds....that should be the Native Instruments hardware controller service.  I believe that process runs as a service, so you should be able to disable it if you don't have a hardware controller, or set it to manual and write a little batch file to start the service when you need it.

    Check in your computers services to see if it is listed there.
