Sonar bug: Chord symbols -> bounce to clip

This is a new bug I found in Sonar 8.5.1. Could somebody (and Cakewalk) please confirm this?

I created a new empty midi track and opened the staff view for that one track. Then I enter chord symbols on the staff view.

Next I went back to the track view and selected the whole track and right click'd and chose Bounce to clips. When I now re-opened staff view my chord symbols were gone. When I checked in the event list I saw that Sonar has converted all my Chord events to "KeyAlt" events (whatever they are supposed to do).

Must be more to it. I can not reproduce this as described. What's the output of the MIDI track, and are you using custom chords, or just what's in the default Guitar library?

The midi track output is set to TTS-1. I just use the standard chord library.

PS this is in Sonar x64 on a Windows 7 64 bit system.

I can not re-create this in a newly created project, so there must be something other. Here is my project where this problem seems to occur each time.

I don't have 8.5.1, but FWIW I tested this out on 8.3.1 and had no issues.

I managed to determine more precisely under which ciscumstanses the bug is re-produceable.

Create a new project and insert TTS as your synth. Add one (or many more) midi tracks.

Set the output of the midi track to TTS.

Set the channel number on the midi track to Ch 1 - This is the important step, as the bug does not happen with the channel set to 0!!

Enter chord symbols to your liking in the staff view.

Go to the track view and select the track clips

Right-click and choose bounce to clips

Open staff view and check if your chord symbols are still there.

Just remember to log it when you're happy its a bug. Cakewalk won't pick it up from here.
I see ya got it ...

    Sepheritoh,

I'm not able to reproduce this either.  I even split the clips and bounced them again, chord still show up.

There's gotta be another variable to reproduce this.
