After I record a song, the audio gets replaced with silence. How do I stop this?

    you'll need to give us some more details on your system(including your soundcard), your input path, what you're recording - how you're recording it, what driver mode you're using, and exactly what's happening.  remember we can't see what you see, so give us as many details as you can.
