HEY STEVE - HELP !

Hey Steve , I forgot how to convert and save my Midi tracks in Sonar Home Studio 7 XL .
I haven't used my Sonar Home Studio in months now and a few things I can't remember .
Right now I have a drum track I wanted to save as a Wav File on my desktop and I can't export whats on the Midi drum track , I have tried everything and this is driving me crazy !

Check back in a bit, thanks !

Hey Steve or anyone who might know , in SHS7XL I click on ( insert ) then ( Rewire Devices ) and I see Project 5 version 2 .
If I click on Project 5 Version 2 what will happen ?
Does that rewire a track over to Project 5 ?

Shouting in blue again i see!  LOL!

To convert midi to wave it depends on what synth you use. If it is a soft or internal synth just bounce the track, if it is a hardware or external synth you need to record the output of the synth to a new audio track.

Yes that will rewire to P5V2

I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!

Rob is right. It all depends on how you are playing back your MIDI. This MIDI 2 Audio Tutorial goes over the 3 methods.

Click below for some good tutorials on using Rewire in SONAR as well as Home Studio:

Thanks Robo , yes I jump over to Project 5 and stop using SHS7XL and forgot a few things and my mind turned BLUE on me .
Sometimes you get too busy doing this and that and at my age anything can snap!
I decided to create my next song using Sonar Home Studio 7 XL , there were a few things in SHS7 that Project 5 doesn't offer.

    Thanks for the help ,cheers!
