I wasn't having a lot of luck with it in Vista (but then I wasn't having a lot of luck with Vista anyway.)  I'm not sure if they've updated their drivers to be compatible with Win7.  You could check their site.

Running great here-Win 7 64 and Sonar 852 64. AP2496 seems much "better" in 64 bit arena than when I was using it for many years in XP pro SP2 32b. It's also the same one 2003!
Wish I could say the same for Dim Pro

I've got a Delta 66, same drivers, and yes, they've updated them. Win7 x64 drivers are there. You should be fine. I find some softsynths like ASIO mode better than WDM and vice versa, but fortunately it's easy to switch.

Smooth as silk here. There were some issues with the card with the Win 7 Beta nd RC versions and people using the VISTA drivers in compatibility mode, but those have all been fixed with the official Win 7 driver from M Audio.

I use the Delta 1010LT.  Again, same drivers.  Works like a champ in Win 7 x64.

    Hello Everyone,
I need some advice.  I Upgraded to Win 7 64bit.  I'm running Sonar 8.53 with a M-Audio 2496 I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core running at 2.2Ghz. I have 3 Gig of memory.   I installed the m-audio drivers for my card.  When I was running windows vista home 32bit I was using the ASIOALL drivers.   All of the demo songs that came with Sonar would play under vista.  When I upgraded to Win 7 64bit (and reinstalled Sonar to 64bit) I still used the ASIOALL drivers.  But I started experiencing Sonar to not respond and lockup at times.  So I called Cakewalk.  They told me that I should be using the M-Audio drivers.  So I switched to the M-Audio drivers.   I can't get the demo songs that came with Sonar to play smoothly. The songs pop and crack and my CPU % stays around 60 to 70%.  If some of you are using the M-Audio 2496 how did you setup the drivers?  How did you configure the Audio Options in Sonar?

    Thanks,
    Keith

Don't use ASIOForAll with the M Audio card, plain and simple. Use it's ASIO drivers and things should work fine.

I downloaded the latest drivers Version 5.10.0.5074.  When I click on Audio Options under the general tab.  I can't adjust my Mixing Latency buffer size.  The slider is grayed out.  Also when I click on the ASIO Panel button nothing comes up.  When I ran the ASIOforAll drivers it played fine, just would lock up at times. Any suggestions on what I'm missing?

    Thanks,
    Keith

    Hey,
Just got off of phone with Cakewalk Tech.  I found out that the mixing latency buffer size adjustment is suppose to be grayed out in ASIO mode.  Also I found out that the ASIO Panel button under the General tab in Audio Options don't work in cakewalk.  I had to bring up the M-Audio Control panel from the windows tool bar and adjust my ASIO/WDM buffer size from 256 to 1024.  When I done this it seems to play back fine now.  I'm hoping my lockup problems were coming from using the ASIO4All drivers.  Time will tell.

    Thanks,
    Keith
