can't install it on XP

Got the VStudio 100 today . But when i install the drivers they run ok and it says the device is ready to use .

But the v100 driver setup just hangs and stays and does not give the option to continue.

I have plugged the v100 but next is gray out and just sitting there waiting.

I am running XP SP3

It is defective ?

    see the picture attached.

It hangs there. on the v100 says "USB Mass storage" "Connecting..."

The XP already installed the driver and says the device is ready.

Sounds obvious but did you connect the VS-100 as asked and did that give you the next button???

I am having the same problem with the drivers? Can you clarify what you mean by this please? Where did you select VS-100 as a mass storage device?

    Hi Mancelot.
I had the same problem installing. It's probably because you have the VS100 unit in USB "Storage Mode".
    - Hold down the Display/Menu button on the VS100 to bring up the Utility menu and scroll down the list using the Cursor/Value dial until you get to 'Storage'.
    Turn this off.

Thanks lampoonland, but storage is set to off. I am going to go ahead and assume that it's because this dinosaur has USB1 ports. I am waiting for my new laptop to be built, but I wanted to get some experience with the VS before it arrived. I guess not ;)

    Thanks anyway!

I had the same problem, it was because i'd plugged into usb1 by mistake, it's been fine since and i love it.

    Cheers
    Steve.
