Missing waveform
when i record something i can see the waveform on the clip, however,when i quit and go back into sonar i just see a blank clip?amy suggestions? Cian

after you changed to WDM driver mode? what soundcard are you using?

Beagle, Im using my UA 4FX now,but i recorded it with my UA 4FX if you get me (after i changed the driver). The clip is blank,but it still makes the sound and the levels are moving as if it is still there.

Not sure about the technical end of why it's happening- but if you right click on the track>clip properties>audio files and click recompute, you can restore the wave.

Another option is to empty your picture cache (the waveforms will recreate themselves when you open the project). It could just be a corrupted cookie.

that didnt work for me blue on blue,there is still no information on clip. I will try your suggestion slugbaby,you mind me askin how do i empty my picture cache?

I don't remember where it's stored, but you can find it by going to OPTIONS>GLOBAL>FOLDERS and look at the path where the PICTURE CACHE is located.

Press Ctrl+A to select all, right click a clip, go to clip properties, press the audio files tab, and press the "Recompute Pictures" button. This will be a temporary fix, but it seems like your picture cache is not being located properly like already said.
