RECORDING MUTLIPLE INPUTS IN STANDALONE MODE

HI ALL,

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO RECORD MULTIPLE INPUTS USING THE STAND ALONE MODE.

IS THIS POSSIBLE..?

I WOULD LIKE TO RECORD OUR JAM SESSIONS TO CAPTURE IDEAS.

CAN I RUN MY INPUTS THROUGH A MIXER & THEN INTO THE VS BOX..?

I JUST WANT TO CAPTURE IDEAS...SO IF IT MIXES ALL INPUTS INTO ONE TRACK IT IS NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME

THANKS

I do what I believe you are after with the virtual cables of MIDI-Yoke and the virtual-cable manager facility called MIDI-Ox. ...Both are free and VERY POWERFUL.

You have 2 front inputs  (1/2) that can use either XLR or 1/4 inch balanced or unbalanced cables, these are best for your vocals or guitars.

2 rear inputs (3/4) use just the 1//4 inch balanced or unbalanced cables, good for guitars, keyboards or sub mix from another mixer.

2 rear inputs (5/6) that use RCA jacks, a bit harder to use but good for sub mix from another mixer or anything that has an adapter to change it to RCA.

1 digital stereo input (7/8), even harder to use or find a use for, I fortunately have a mixer that has digital output, there are some guitar effects, mixers, keyboard that have digital output so you can of course use those as well.
