Weird screen problem with Sonar LE!!!

Have Sonar LE running on Dell laptop with Windows XP. No latency issues, totally love the thing. BUT....
I set up the laptop to run to an external monitor, and must have changed some settings somewhere, because NOW there is a thick vertical black stripe running inbetween the stack of instrument listings and their respective audo or midi track at right. It severely dimishes the available size of the audio or midi track...it will only expand so far and I'm losing a lot of screen real estate.

Anyone have any recommended settings for XP setup on Themes and screen from Control Panel? I think that's where the problem is...
Thanks all,
Charles

(if that's unclear I may try to make a screen grab and upload it here later). Thnx

    Hi CGlasser,

It could be that the video chip does not support the current resolution of the 2d screen, or some other setting.

Of the resolutions that the monitor supports,  some may not  be  available for the video chip.
