Surround Bridge blues

Whenever I insert a 3rd party plugin (any brand) on a surround bus, there is, what appears to me, to be some kind of error in delay compensation. There is a very pronounce delay between the original sound source, and the processed audio, which gets worse as time goes on.

Does anyone have a fix/workaround for this?

Correction: The output from the plugin is heard first then the original source

I'll have three fingers of Glenlivet, with a little bit of pepper... and some cheese.

Just to clarify, this only happens with 3rd party plugins - Sontius plugs seem to work fine for some reason

I just tried this with Ozone v3 and SmashPro.  Yep, sure looks like PDC is broken for the surround bridge. The workaround would be to insert a delay on all the other tracks and busses to compensate manually if you can figure out the delay. But that's ridiculous. Filing a problem report would be good.

Thanks, will do. I worked out how I can use other reverbs which has made me happier. It's quite obvious actually - I insert a stereo bus instead of surround, then of course Surround Bridge isn't engaged. I can then route the stereo output of my reverb channel to a surround bus, and pan it where desired.

But I'm still limited to using Sonitus compressors on surround buses, and the woeful Boost 11 on the Master instead of my L3 Ultramaximizer

I'll definitely file a problem report, but it would be even nicer to see genuine surround plugs supported...

    This is not good.

I am in the process of building a new Surround Post room, and I was planning on using SONAR as the central DAW.

I just can't seem to break free of Cubendo...
