VS-100 and Octa Capture UA-1010

I'm on my way to buy VS-100 and maybe the UA-1010 for more i/o.
 
How is the latency when using them together with a computer, is the 48 sample buffer still availible as it is alone with the UA-1010?

Can I work standalone w/o the computer to expand the VS-100s i/os with UA-1010?

I hereby answer a bit of the question myself;
Yes a 48 samples buffer is available in the new VS-100 driver!!! :)

I have same question about latency when in the same USB bus as VS-Studio???
no problems?
