Forum problem: cant reply!

i started a forum post a couple weeks back (which im going to restart today) and i cannot reply to it, no matter what i try.
im using IE8 and ive done it on two computers, same result. the browser just sits there.
i get a java error in the bottom (which i cannot ignore or "force anyway") and all popup blockers are off.

in fact now that i look at it, i cant even log out!

anyone have any ideas?

    I'm using IE8 with no problems. It could be something to do with your IE settings. Doing one or more of the following is worth a try if you are having IE trouble:

    1. Clear your browser cache (Tools->Internet Options->General-Delete...).
    2. In Tools->Internet Options->Security, click the 'Reset all zones to default level' button (resets IE security settings to default).
    3. In Tools->Internet Options->Privacy, click the 'Default' button (resets IE cookie settings to default).

    A more drastic option is to reset IE to its 'factory default' settings. I'd do a quick Google on exactly what this does before you go ahead though, just so you know exactly what is being reset, and what is left alone (I'm not sure if it deletes favourites for example). Click the Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->Reset... button to do this.
