Using VS700 on both MacOSX and Windows at the same time?

Using VS700 on both MacOSX and Windows at the same time?

I noted when I was about to install the firmware that there were two different firmwares with the same version number, one for MacOSX and one for Windows. Will I be able to install the Windows version (or MacOSX version) of the firmware and still be able to use the device interchangeably without much hassle?
 
My vision is to be able to use my VS700 setup on both operating systems on my iMac without hassle!

    Answered my own question. Yes, it does work.
