Waves C6 side-chaining in Sonar possible?

So I purchased the Waves C6 plug-in tonight as the thought of multi-band compression side-chaining intrigues me.  Although, it appears that triggering from a keyed input in C6 is not possible using Sonar 8.5.  Anyone managed to find a workaround?

Thank you in advance.

*Side note: I have used the Sonitus compressor & gate for side-chaining in Sonar, but I would love to use the C6.  I was very easily able to get the C6 side-chain functionality working in both Logic Pro 9 and Pro Tools 8 LE.

Unfortunately, Waves has not implemented side-chaining in to any of their VST 2 plug-ins. They did release all their plug-ins as VST 3 now, and side-chaining is possible using the VST 3 versions. Currently SONAR does not support VST 3, you'll notice the same issue using LIVE & Reaper.

Any idea when Sonar will be able to use VST3 plugs Lance?
