MultiDock PRV

Is there a way to get the PRV when in MultiDock to automatically change to the selected track? As when I drag it into the MultiDock it only stays on the track that was selected when I dragged it in.

I would also like to know how to do that. It would improve my workflow a lot.

    My DAW: Intel i5, Cakewalk UA-1G, Win7 64 bit, SONAR X1a Producer 64 bit

And I thought it was just me

I found the "set the console to follow the track view order" option

I assume this is in there somewhere but haven't found it yet

I keep switching it under the tracks tab, then select track, then track#

    Anyone??

I really wish this worked the same as in Studio One. You click to select a MIDI clip, and the clip is automatically shown, AND highlighted, in the piano roll.

The only way I see at the moment is to double click the data you want to see there (not the track, but the clips).

Thanks, Billy - I'll give that a try
Way faster than 4 menu clicks!

It does work that way - just double click the MIDI clip (and of course have the PRV in the MD if that's where you want it).

Or just dbl click the MIDI clip and it will open the PRV anyway (as it did pre-X1) - unless you change the double click clip option (but the default is already set this way).

I never needed 4 menu clicks.  Just dbl clicking on a MIDI clip would invoke the PRV even before X1.

    But you're welcome :)

Oh, one thing is to make sure the PRV in the Multi-Dock is the 'focus' of the Multi-Dock.  IOW, if you have a few things multi-docked, you may have to click on the PRV tab there to 'see' your data.'
