Gloss EQ=Gliss EQ

Just wondering, since the names are so similar, did Cake use and rename the Voxengo Gliss EQ for X1? I think Cakewalk and Voxengo have worked together before on other plugs (Perfect Space?). If not, the names are strangely similar. Did I tell you I'm in a band called the "Bootles"?

    They are not the same. The question has been asked before and there is a response from some one at Cakewalk on this forum.

    I understand Voxengo is an East European developer and may not hear the English language as do native speakers.
     
    Gloss makes sense.
    Gliss might be derived from Glistening, but to me sounds like Glissando.

    Nope, our Gloss EQ has nothing to do with Voxengo's Gliss EQ.
