Intel SpeedStep Technology!!!

Hi all,i have already spoken very well of Sonar X1,stable,fast,superb sound on 64 bit Producer....But... I have forgotten to disable on my mobo bios (new install on my first load of Sonar X1)the SpeedStep option. Oh my......What was good now it is just perfect!!! Sometime i had a crackle when i moved some clips with X1 is playing or my best low latency was 6 ms with ASIO.... Now the cpu load is very low with complex prjs and my new stable latency value is 3ms with my Focusrite Saffire Pro 26 i\o. I can move or loop everything, load an instrument in play without crackle ,buzz or dropouts. I'm very happy. I hope that this help.... Best. Roby

Speedstep is a power management technology mainly geared towards laptops.

    "Wikipedia"
...built into some Intel microprocessors that allow the clock speed of the processor to be dynamically changed...

Power management and DAWS... is not a good idea.
