Experienced Sonar X1 teacher available for hire in Northern NJ? - January 03, 12 5:38 PM ( #1 )
Hi all. I am a classically trained pianist and composer (classical / rock / jazz). I own a Kurzweil K2500 and Sonar X1 Producer.

I'm looking to hire a professional instructor to teach me how to get up and running on Sonar X1 ASAP. I think personal instruction would be better / faster than "book" knowledge.

I am an IT Consultant by trade so the computer part is no problem.

Can anyone recommend a qualified instructor to provide in-home lessons? I'm in Summit, NJ 07901.

Thanks!

If you get onto www.groove3.com you will see a couple of training video sets that are really excellent for Sonar X1. I think if you start there it will really help you a lot. Also check out the CakeTV links on the Cakewalk site cause the training there is great also.

I signed up for the $99 pass for the entire year which gives you unlimited access to all the groove3 videos and it has been well worth it.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the reply. I've been to the groove3 site, signed up for their 30 day free pass and will likely get a full year sub. I'd still like to find a local expert to give me one on one instruction, though, so if anyone has any suggestions / referecnes it would be much apreciated.
